About EvGuru
EvGuru is a Malaysian EV charger supplier and installation specialist, operating since 2021. We supply charging hardware and carry out installations for landed homes, condominiums and commercial properties across Peninsular Malaysia.
We handle the full process in-house: charger selection, supply, electrical installation, Suruhanjaya Tenaga (ST) registration, and after-sales support. Customers deal with one company from quotation to commissioning, rather than coordinating separately between a hardware supplier and an electrician.
Our Team
EvGuru's team combines electrical engineering, construction, property development, vehicle dealership, logistics and solar energy backgrounds. Installations are carried out by licensed electricians, and every job is registered with Suruhanjaya Tenaga.
We are based in Petaling Jaya and work across Peninsular Malaysia.
What We Supply
Home Charging
Smart AC wallboxes for landed homes and condominiums — 7.4kW single-phase and 11kW/22kW three-phase, with app control and OCPP support. This includes our own Guru Swift range, and units from EO, for whom we are authorised distributors in Malaysia.
Every charger we sell is matched to the vehicle and the property's electrical supply before quotation, so customers are not sold more capacity than their DB can support.
Commercial and DC Fast Charging
For car parks, retail, offices and fleet sites we supply AC and DC charge point hardware with cloud management, load balancing, access control, RFID and billing. Projects are delivered end to end: hardware, installation, commissioning, maintenance and ongoing operation.
Cables, Adapters and Accessories
Charging cables in 3.6kW, 7kW, 11kW and 22kW ratings, portable chargers for travel and backup, and EV plug adapters — including Type 1 to Type 2 adapters, which we are currently the only supplier of in Malaysia.
Certification
Our products carry CE, TUV and SIRIM certification as applicable to each product category. Installation materials are SIRIM-certified throughout.
Installation and Certification
All installations are registered with Suruhanjaya Tenaga and use SIRIM-certified materials. Our work follows the 2025 edition ST Guidelines for Electric Vehicle Charging Systems, including Type B RCD protection where required.

A typical landed-home installation is completed in three to four hours. Every quotation is given upfront before work begins, with charger hardware and installation priced separately so you can see exactly what you are paying for each. We handle the Suruhanjaya Tenaga registration and prepare the documentation customers need to claim the YA 2026 personal tax relief on home EV charger installation.

Warranty
Chargers purchased from EvGuru and installed by our team carry a two-year warranty covering both the charger and the cabling. Installation-only jobs, where the customer supplies their own charger, carry a three-month warranty covering installation-related issues.
Who We Work With
EvGuru has delivered EV charging infrastructure for TNB, Sunway Corporate, Hartamas Shopping Centre, Menara Ilham and Mitsubishi Elevator, alongside residential installations across Peninsular Malaysia. We also run a partner and reseller programme for electrical contractors and property service companies.
