Basic Warranty
We offer a free 2-year basic warranty.

Years 1-2: Warranty on the charger and free labour costs to replace the charger.

If the charger is broken by itself, EvGuru will replace it for free.

*(The warranty does not cover defects or malfunction caused by misuse, abuse or improper maintenance, failure to follow operating instructions or use with equipment with which it is not intended to be used. It doesn't cover cosmetic or incidental damages. Also, the warranty will not apply to damage caused by unauthorised alteration, modification or repair of the product.)

The Basic Warranty is also applicable to customers who purchase their EV chargers from EvGuru, but perform their EV Charger installation, whether by themselves or their appointed electricians and comply with specifications provided by EvGuru.

In the event anything happens, EvGuru will arrange our team member(s) to inspect and investigate. If it's found cabling, wiring or the specifications are not done correctly or do not follow our specifications. We will charge a service fee. And if the EV charger is not working, customers will have to purchase a new one at full price.
Premium Warranty Plan (3 Years)
Customers may also choose to upgrade or extend the Warranty Plan after the first two years of the Basic Warranty. The plan includes:

Broken the charger caused by lightning strikes

(RM 250 per year, RM 600 for three years – automatic renewal.)

This warranty is subject to the following conditions:
The warranty shall take effect on the day the customer receives EvGuru's EV Chargers.

The charger is installed by EvGuru's approved installer.

The charger is used only on the electricity supply printed on the rating plate.

The charger has been used only to charge an electric vehicle(s).

The charging cable has been placed in the holding socket when not in use (applies only to tethered units, not socketed units)

The charger has not been altered, serviced, maintained, dismantled or otherwise interfered with by any person not authorised by us. For the avoidance of doubt, any attempt to open the unit by anyone other than EvGuru's team or EvGuru's appointed agent will invalidate the warranty.

Any repair work must be undertaken by EvGuru's team or EvGuru's appointed agent only.

Any parts of the EV charger must not be removed.

The charger must not be removed from the first-installed venue.

The charger must be purchased from and provided by EvGuru. (For the charger that is not purchased from EvGuru and not provided by EvGuru, but installed by EvGuru, the warranty period would be shortened from 2 years to 3 months, and will only be covered for installation-related issues, and any issue with the charger itself will not be covered.)
The warranty does not cover:

Damage resulting from transportation, improper use, wear and tear, neglect or interference or as a result of improper installation

Replacement of any consumable item or accessory not supplied by us
